Normally, Andrew Sears or Mike Rogers would be flooding your brains with a healthy dose of sci-fi lore, digging into science-based or recipe-based factoids, or perhaps the inner workings of the Stellar Empire universe as a whole.
But not this guy. 👍😏👍 No, I’m going to regale you with the fake brands that sell goods, deliver resources, and sate the thirst of species all across the galaxy. Today, we’re going to discuss three mega-corporations of the Stellar Empire universe: Warwick-Yanagi, ALLIED SHIPPING, and PopWorks.
Warwick-Yanagi

I feel like I’ve seen this before… You may be thinking to yourself as you peruse the Warwick-Yanagi, SCP, brand catalog. One of Andrew Sears’ great loves is the corporations of the sci-fi genre, and he created Warwick-Yanagi as an homage to the Alien franchise with this parody company.
Warwick-Yanagi specializes in exploration, industrialization, and technological innovation. Their customer base is predominantly nations pursuing colonial aspirations, and with those aspirations come a multitude of logistical challenges and the equipment needed to overcome them.
Warwick-Yanagi has been in business for quite a long time, as far as the modern era of the Stellar Empire is concerned, and they are the dominant manufacturer and innovator in the space. Of course, there are always new companies on the rise, but Warwick-Yanagi always seems to come out on top… interesting…
ALLIED SHIPPING
You have shit, and it needs delivering.

Don’t let the vibrant colors fool you— ALLIED SHIPPING, SCP, are all business. Built on the backbone of freight transport across star systems, ALLIED SHIPPING have a reputation for dependable resource and product delivery. They are counted on by numerous independent states as well as major (and minor) imperial powers.
They have recently branched out, adding dedicated mining vehicles that transport raw material resources to shipping hubs.1 These smaller vessels are a new product that connects to their overall service model of freight delivery, making ALLIED SHIPPING a potential one-stop shop for resource collection and distribution.
PopWorks
PopWorks, SCP, is the oldest beverage distributor in the galaxy, providing the tastes and nostalgic familial flavors that have comforted their customers for hundreds of years.
Their flagship flavor, GalaxyPop, is often referred to as “the Original” in mainstream culture and is the ubiquitous beverage, from small saloons in backwater colonies to the bustling concession stands in massive stadiums for LightRacer contests.2 Not only are they the official beverage of LightRacer, but they’ve recently fielded their own LR team, RaceWorks!
